I tried virtual every known method… that is documented. It has to be a hybrid of 2 or three.
There is 96 characters .. I thought that it maybe a frequency of how many times a letter occurred or how many times it didn’t occur. That lead me down numerous rabbit holes.
Then I thought substitution.. if it is substitution its a variant of more than one

I think what is needed is to go back to the books he was exposed to and influenced his cryptography addiction.
Was he reading Kahn, David – The CodeBreakers ..what other books written at that time would of inspired him. The clue has to exist in those books.
